Late Rev. Amos Owolabi Adejumobi served in various capacities as class teacher, and head teacher in several elementary, modern, and secondary schools from 1962 to 1967 and served as head teacher (Principal) from 1967-1970. 1970-1990: he served in the Nigerian Army as an Education Instructor for 20 years and 200 days after which he retired as a Warrant Officer Class II. 1995-2001: Late Rev. Amos Owolabi Adejumobi served as the Senior Ministerial Officer at the Nigerian Baptist Convention where he organized prison ministry workshops and seminars for local churches of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, preached the word of God to inmates in several prisons all over Nigeria, organized adult literacy classes for inmates, and administered baptismal services and the Lord’s Supper. He also organized and attended the Board of Trustees meeting. 2000-2007: Papa served as the Senior Minister of Ibukun Oluwa Baptist Church, Ibadan in Oyo State, Nigeria where he preached the word of God to the congregation, conducted personal, premarital, and marriage counseling, organized baptism and the Lord’s Supper, presided over and preached at weddings, planned and conducted revival services, and supervised other church workers. 2007- Glorious exit: Baba Adejumobi served in New Beautiful Gate Church and Ministries, Antioch, TN, USA as the education minister, assisted with counseling, and bible study until he was called home to the Lord while doing what he loves to do most; ‘ministering to the spiritual needs of people’.
